"Dragon Medical One has changed the way I practice as a spinal surgeon.

With Nookal, our multidisciplinary software, I dictate straight into the file with my wireless dictaphone or iPhone, and my notes are immediately available to the whole team.

My administration team can organise appropriate appointments and my rehabilitation team can plan treatment according to my guidelines. My assistant checks the dictation (although the voice recognition transcription is usually error-free) and emails the letter immediately.

The system is smooth to the stage that most patients have a copy of my correspondence by the time they get to the carpark! It makes our team look very professional as we all are working with up to date information and the patient is kept informed of their management plan."
