Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred Mobile packages have three recorder options. The Preferred 10 plus Philips mobile package - basic entry level mobile package. The business level WS560M or the Advanced Professional unit the DS-5000 are much better options. The Olympus units are superior in audio quality and features by a wide margin, but any unit will allow you to dictate notes, letters or email while you are out and about and then have your words transcribed later when you return to your PC with Dragon 10 installed. You need to train dragon to your voice using the included headset then you can start dictating directly into the voice recorder. Remember you cant record conversations or meetings etc as this is not dictation of your trained voice profile. Its highly accurate once trained up.

Included Headset Microphone: A standard analogue microphone is included. This is a basic unit for dictation when you are sitting in front of your computer as this is more efficient than using the recorder and then having to run the audio file through Dragon manually. Its not a very accurate unit so consider the NC181VMUSB if you will be doing a lot of dictation in real time.
