The Olympus DM3 Digital Notetaker is the ideal notetaker for making professional recordings of meetings, conferences, interviews or conversations. The built-in stereo microphone offers fantastic audio reproduction with the added bonus of stereo separation which can make a manual transcription of the recording much easier.

Works on both Windows PC and Apple Mac.

Simply connect the DM-3 to your PC or Mac and the DM-3 will appear as an external hard drive (much like a USB thumb drive) you can then download, copy and manage all your recorded files.

Included with the package is the Olympus Sonority software which gives more advanced playback options or you can play the standard audio formatted files in virtually any media playing program.

The DM-3 integrates perfectly with Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software and in PCM (WAV) format is one of the best recorders on the market for both PC speech recognition but also Dragon Dictate 3 for Apple Mac.

All the accessories you need.

The Olympus DM3 comes with a rechargeable battery and AC power adaptor, a carry case and some headphones but if you need additional accessories Olympus offer a range of microphones that work great with the DM3.

The TP7 telephone pickup can be purchased for recording telephone conversations and thanks to the stereo mic-in jack the DM3 is even compatible with the Olympus ME30W conference kit making it ideal for recording larger meetings or conferences.

Portable storage and media player.

The DM3 can even be used as a thumb drive meaning there can be one less thing for you to carry around. Use the DM3 to store and move documents or other files between machines or even store some MP3 music on it so you can play back the audio through either the quality built-in speaker or for real ‘oomph’ connect a pair of headphones.
